Rotunda Regietów - co robić w wolnym czasie

Rotunda Regietów

      Rotunda to szczyt górski o wysokości 771 m n.p.m. w Beskidzie Niskim. Znajduje się w bocznym ramieniu, odgałęziającym się od głównego grzbietu Karpat w okolicy Jaworzyny Konieczniańskiej. W skład tego ramienia wchodzą także szczyty Dział (712 m n.p.m.) oraz Rotunda. Szczyt ma charakterystyczną formę kopy, co nadaje mu nazwę "rotunda". Obszar ten jest obecnie całkowicie zalesiony.

 

       Na szczycie Rotundy usytuowany jest cmentarz wojenny nr 51 z czasów I wojny światowej. U stóp góry znajduje się studencka baza namiotowa w Regietowie, prowadzona przez Studenckie Koło Przewodników Beskidzkich w Warszawie (SKPB Warszawa). Dzięki staraniom członków i sympatyków SKPB Warszawa, cmentarz został znacznie wyremontowany. Rotunda jest teraz łatwo dostępna, ponieważ w 2000 roku poprowadzono przez nią Główny Szlak Beskidzki, który wcześniej biegł północnymi stokami góry.
