   Pomnik Latarni Morskiej w Gdyni Oksywiu to jedna z charakterystycznych i symbolicznych atrakcji tego nadmorskiego obszaru. Jest on hołdem dla historii morskiej oraz upamiętnia Latarnię Morską, która stała w tej dzielnicy Gdyni.

 

   Pomnik ten przedstawia miniaturową replikę latarni morskiej, odwzorowaną w skali 1:5, która przez lata służyła jako ważny punkt orientacyjny dla jednostek pływających na Zatoce Gdańskiej. To miejsce jest nie tylko wspaniałym przykładem architektury morskiej, ale także świadectwem długiej historii i tradycji związanych z morzem w Gdyni.

 

   Odsłonięcie pomnika miało miejsce 1 października 2007 roku, dokładnie w 120 rocznicę uruchomienia tej latarni. Pomnik stoi dokładnie w miejscu dawnej Latarni w Oksywiu - na terenie cmentarza Marynarki Wojennej W Gdyni Oksywiu.
