   Pomnik Jana Jerzego Haffnera w Sopocie to hołd dla jednej z najważniejszych postaci w historii miasta. Jan Jerzy Haffner był założycielem sopockiego uzdrowiska, był inicjatorem stworzenia kąpieliska morskiego i jest uważany za jedną z ważnych postaci podczas procesu tworzenia nadmorskiego miasta Sopot. Jego działalność miała istotny wpływ na transformację Sopotu w renomowane miejsce wypoczynkowe.

 

   Pomnik został odsłonięty 8 października 2004 roku w Parku Północnym - między klubem SFINKS a Grand Hotelem. 

 

   Pomnik przedstawia postać Jana Jerzego Haffnera siedzącego postawnie na kamieniu. Dookoła Pomnika teren został zagospodarowany i porośnięty zielenią. 

 

   Pomnik jest miejscem, które przypomina o historii miasta i roli, jaką odegrał Jan Jerzy Haffner w kształtowaniu jego tożsamości.
