    Góra Gradowa stanowi północny kraniec Grodziska i jest połączona z resztą fortyfikacji, w tym Czołem Kurkowym, od strony południowej. Z pozostałych stron wzgórze jest otoczone stromymi skarpami, a na dole pierwotnie znajdowała się sucha fosa.
